Callisto, a follower of Artemis, the Olympian Goddess of the Hunt, was seduced by Jupiter who transformed himself into the disguise of Artemis. Callisto fell pregnant and Artemis transformed her into a Bear, and set her among the stars as the constellation Ursa Major ("The Great Bear"). On shaped canvas.
