Reilly continues to produce dynamic abstract paintings. These works are based upon his original abstract Illusionistic concepts, which were refined in his earlier paintings. It was the shaped-canvas paintings that launched Reilly into a new realm of artistic development. They may look like they are multiple canvases, when they actually are one single canvas, painted to give the depth and illusion of many pieces.
